.SH DESCRIPTION
La fonction \fBecvt()\fP convertit \fInumber\fP en une chane de caractres
de \fIndigits\fP chiffres, termine par zro. La fonction renvoie un pointeur
sur cette chane.
La chaine elle\-mme ne contient pas de point dcimal, nanmoins la position
du point dcimal relativement au dbut de la chane est stocke dans
\fIdecpt\fP. Une valeur ngative de \fIdecpt\fP signifie que le point
dcimal est  gauche de la chane. Si le signe de \fInumber\fP est ngatif,
\fIsign\fP est rempli avec une valeur non-nulle, sinon il est
mis  0.

La fonction \fBfcvt()\fP est identique  \fBecvt()\fP,  la difference que
\fIndigits\fP indique le nombre de dcimales aprs la virgule.

Les deux fonctions \fBecvt()\fP et \fBfcvt()\fP renvoient un pointeur sur
une chane de caractres statique contenant la reprsentation ASCII de
\fInumber\fP.
La chaine statique est crase  chaque appel de \fBecvt()\fP ou \fBfcvt()\fP.
