\fBservices\fP(5)) i zwraca strukturę \fIservent\fP zawierającą pola powstałe z
rozłożenia pól wpisu. Połączenie do bazy danych jest otwierane, jeśli jest
to potrzebne.

Funkcja \fBgetservbyname\fP() zwraca strukturę \fIservent\fP zawierającą ten wpis
z bazy danych, który odpowiada usłudze \fIname\fP korzystającej z protokołu
\fIproto\fP. Jeśli \fIproto\fP jest równe NULL, to pasował będzie dowolny
protokół. Połączenie do bazy danych jest otwierane, jeśli jest to potrzebne.

Funkcja \fBgetservbyport\fP() zwraca strukturę \fIservent\fP zawierającą wartości
tego wpisu z bazy danych, który odpowiada portowi \fIport\fP (podanemu w
sieciowej kolejności bajtów) dla protokołu \fIproto\fP. Jeśli \fIproto\fP jest
równe NULL, to pasował będzie dowolny protokół. Połączenie do bazy danych
jest otwierane, jeśli jest to potrzebne.
