protocols \- o arquivo de definio de protocolos
.SH DESCRIO
Este arquivo um arquivo ASCII, descrevendo os vrios protocolos
internet DARPA que esto disponveis para o subsitema TCP/IP. Ele pode ser
consultado ao invs de usar os nmeros nos arquivos ARPA includos, ou,
mesmo que da pior forma, adivinh-los. Estes nmeros iro ocorrer no campo
protocolo de qualquer cabealho ip.
Deixe este arquivo intocado, j que mudanas resultariam em pacotes ip
incorretos. Nmeros de protocolos e nomes so especificados pelo
Centro de Informao de Rede DDN.
Cada linha tem o seguinte formato:

.I protocolo nmero aliases ...
.RE
onde os campos so delimitados por espas ou tabulaes. Linhas vazias e
linhas iniciadas por um caractere (#) so ignoradas. O restante das linhas
so tambm ignoradas a partir desta ocorrncia.
A descrio dos campos so:
.TP
.I protocolo
o nome nativo para o protocolo. Por exemplo ip, tcp or udp.
.TP
.I nmero
o nmero oficial para este protocolo como ele ir apareer no
cabealho ip.
.TP
.I aliases
alias opcional para este protocolo.
.LP
O arquivo talvez distribudo sobre uma rede usando um servio de nomeao
como Yellow Pages/NIS or BIND/Hesoid.
