To install matwrap, perform the following steps:

1. Unpack the tar file (you've apparently already done this).

2. Decide whether you want to run it in place, or whether you want
   to have it installed in some location like /usr/local.  If the
   former, just type "make install.here".  If the latter, edit
   Makefile, changing PREFIX to point to where you want it to install,
   and type "make install".
