Branches of this repository follows DEP-14, but is not managed with gbp and its commands {import,export}-orig, etc. Rather, Debianization is manually layered on top of the upstream repository.
Since it has full upstream history, there is no need for pristine tars. However, repacking/Files-Excluded needs some extra work.
0. Add a Git remote pointing to upstream if not done before
1. Fetch upstream
2. Reset upstream/sid to the latest upstream version (tag), and tag it `upstream/{version}`
3. Merge upstream/sid onto debian/sid
4. Examine licenses; update Files-Excluded, use `debian/delete-excluded` to remove them and commit if necessary
5. Continue working on update
