What is Modeline?
-----------------

  Modeline is a small utility used to calculate modelines for use with X11,
  SVGAlib and Vesa FrameBuffer.

  You can get the latest version of modeline from:
    http://home.kvalito.no/~bragthor/files/files.shtml

Installation:
-------------

  See the INSTALL file

Usage:
------

  modeline [options]

  options are:
    -h, --help           Helpscreen displaying this info
    -W, --width          The display width you want
    -H, --heigth         The display heigth you want
    -z, --hertz          The refreshrate you want
    -d, --double         Specify a double scan mode (each line drawn twice)
    -i, --interlaced     Specify an interlaced mode
    -f, --file           Specify a different configfile for monitor limits
    -g, --noguess        Do NOT guess width or heigth if only one is given
        --guess          Try to guess width and heigth (default)
    -a, --aspect         Specify an aspect ratio to use for guessing (default 4:3)
                         useful for certain modes (like 1280x1024)
    -w, --wide           Use if you have a WideScreen monitor (16:9)
        --xfree          Output XFree86 and SVGAlib compatible modelines (default)
        --fb[=depth]     Output FrameBuffer modes for fb.modes
        --matrox[=depth] Output a lilo append line for Matrox FrameBuffer
    -m, --memory         Give amount of videomemory (syntax where x is amount:
                          xM : Megabytes  xk : kilobytes  xb : bytes
        --nowarn         Don't display the warning in the beginning
    -q, --quiet          Be quiet
    -v, --verbose        Be verbose

Monitor Configs:
----------------

  There are currently only propper configurations for 2 monitors (Hitachi
  CM752ET and CM761ET), since theese are the only two monitors I have
  avaliable. If you have a different monitor, and a working configuration,
  please send this to me at bragthor@kvalito.no and I'll include it in the
  distributed config file.
