Abyste si mohli užvat OSD a titulků, muste
<span class="application">MPlayer</span>u sdělit, kter font m použt.
Může to bt jakkoli TrueType font, nebo speciln bitmapov font.
TrueType však doporučujeme, jelikož vypadaj lpe, mohou bt vhodně
šklovny na rozměr filmu a lpe si porad s různmi znakovmi sadami.

Existuj dva způsoby, jak zprovoznit TrueType fonty. Prvn je použt volbu
<tt class="option">-font</tt> pro volbu TrueType fontu z přkazovho řdku.
Tato volba bude dobrm kandidtem pro umstěn do konfiguračnho
souboru (detaily viz manul).
Druh je vytvořen symlinku s nzvem <tt class="filename">subfont.ttf</tt>
na soubor s vmi vybranm fontem. Buď
</p><pre class="screen">ln -s <em class="replaceable"><code>/cesta/k/sample_font.ttf</code></em> ~/.mplayer/subfont.ttf</pre><p>
pro každho uživatele zvlšť, nebo systmov:

Pokud byl <span class="application">MPlayer</span> kompilovn s podporou
<code class="systemitem">fontconfig</code>, vše uveden nebude
fungovat, msto toho <tt class="option">-font</tt> očekv
<code class="systemitem">fontconfig</code> nzev fontu
a jako vchoz bere bezpatkov font. Seznam fontů znmch
<code class="systemitem">fontconfig</code>u,
zskte pomoc <span><strong class="command">fc-list</strong></span>. Přklad:

Pokud se z nějakho důvodu rozhodnete nebo potřebujete použt bitmapov fonty,
sthněte si sadu z našich strnek. Můžete si vybrat mezi různmi
<a href="http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/fonts/" target="_top">ISO fonty</a>
a několika sadami fontů
<a href="http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/contrib/fonts/" target="_top">zaslanch uživateli</a>
v různch znakovch sadch.

Rozbalte stažen archiv do
<tt class="filename">~/.mplayer</tt> nebo
<tt class="filename">$PREFIX/share/mplayer</tt>.
Pak přejmenujte nebo slinkujte jeden z rozbalench adresřů na
<tt class="filename">font</tt>, napřklad:

Fonty by měly mt vhodn <tt class="filename">font.desc</tt> soubor,
kter mapuje unicode pozice ve fontu na aktuln znakovou sadu
textu titulků. Dalšm řešenm je mt titulky kdovan v UTF-8 a použit
volby <tt class="option">-utf8</tt>, nebo jen pojmenovat soubor s titulky
<tt class="filename"><video_nzev>.utf</tt> a umstěte jej do
adresře s filmem.

<tt class="filename">.mplayer</tt> adresře, nebo do systmovho
<span class="application">MPlayer</span> konfiguračnho adresře (vchoz:
<tt class="filename">/usr/local/etc/mplayer</tt>)

zkontrolujte a upravte <tt class="filename">input.conf</tt>, abyste zapnuli klvesy
pro pohyb v menu (to je popsno zde).
