----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, there is really not much to be said here - msc is a perl script used
to generate textual message sequence charts. Hopefully you will be able to
use this script in any operating system that has a working Perl5 and a text
terminal - I have successfully made it run on the following platforms:

- Solaris
- FreeBSD 4.2
- RedHat 6.2
- Windows NT 4.0 with Cygwin and ActivePerl

If you are going to install this package using 'configure', then you will
also be able to do 'man msc' to read its manual. As usual, using the
well-known "--help" command-line option will bring up a brief explanation
of the command line switches. And by the way, there is an example included
in the package (example.msc).

Please send your (constructive) comments/suggestions/patches to the email
above.

Regards,
Tarball
