Syntax: <code>Copy [</code><var>n</var><code>]</code><br>
Abbreviation: <code>C</code>
<p class="noindent">copies the contents of the characters lying between the cursor
and the mark into the clip specified by the optional numeric argument, the
default clip being the current clip, which can be set with the
<code>ClipNumber</code> command; see <a href="ClipNumber.html#ClipNumber">ClipNumber</a>. If the current mark was
vertical, the rectangle of characters defined by the cursor and the mark is
copied instead.
