Note about nip2: nip2 and vips are released together by upstream.
Usually their versions are in lockstep, though occasionally one is
released without the other.  Whenever a new version of vips and nip2
are uploaded together, always be sure to update the build dependency
on vips to the correct version.  This will prevent the new nip2 from
compiling against the older vips.  Although doing so should generally
be harmless, we still want to avoid it so we are building consistently
with how upstream builds.
