The \fBupscli_ssl\fR() function takes the pointer \fIups\fR to a UPSCONN_t state structure\&. It only returns \fI1\fR if SSL support has been compiled into the \fBupsclient\fR(3) library, and if it was successfully enabled for this connection\&.
