This module is a version of <code class="code">Str</code> with a thread-safe interface,
implemented using Pcre.
<p>
This modules processes PCRE-style regular expressions. If you like
to write <code class="code">Str</code>-like regexps, you can also use <a href="Netstring_str.html"><code class="code">Netstring_str</code></a> with
almost the same signature.<br>
