<p>There are many available <code class="docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">configure</span></code> command line options; see
<code class="docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">./configure</span> <span class="pre">--help</span></code> for a full list.</p>
<p>Conventions for the command line options and many commonly-used
options (but not all of them!) are described in the sections listed
below.</p>
