StarSign Token is a product familiy of <a class="ext-link" title="http://www.gi-de.com" href="http://www.gi-de.com" shape="rect">Giesecke &amp; Devrient</a> containing smartcards, USB tokens with smartcard technology and software.
StarSign has it's own PKCS11/CSP middleware, which is called SafeSign.
The cards and tokens which are working with the middleware can have various operating systems such as STARCOS SPK2.3, SPK2.4, SPK2.5, STARCOS 3 and JavaCard based systems called SmartCafe Expert.
