Left preconditioning is used by default. Symmetric preconditioning is
currently available only for the <A HREF="../KSP/KSPQCG.html#KSPQCG">KSPQCG</A> method. Note, however, that
symmetric preconditioning can be emulated by using either right or left
preconditioning and a pre or post processing step.
