<TR><TD WIDTH=40></TD><TD ALIGN=LEFT VALIGN=TOP><B>k </B></TD><TD>- the *signed* degree k of the |k|-forms on which Lstar acts, -(min(M,N)) &lt;= k &lt;= min(M,N).  A negative form degree indicates that the pullback should be conjugated by the Hodge star operator (see note in PetscDTAltvPullback())
