we do not ever recommend using <A HREF="../Sys/PetscTimeAdd.html#PetscTimeAdd">PetscTimeAdd</A>().
The options database command -log_summary activate
PETSc library timing. See Users-Manual: <A HREF="../../manual.pdf#chapter.13">Chapter 13 Profiling</A> for more details.
