RELEASE NOTES
-------------

As you know, Debian "woody" is, despite being "frozen", still in a
considerable state of flux.

* Bugs with X configuration and etherconf will likely prevent
configlets from successfully functioning as a second stage for the
install process. These are problems in the xserver-xfree86 and etherconf
  Debian packages, respectively.

* Debootstrap had an issue with version 0.1.16.1 (it crashed while trying
to kill a process that was already dead) that has been corrected with
version 0.1.16.2, now working its way into mirrors as part of woody.
  (This was Debian Bug #130668.)

* Dpkg had a nasty race-condition bug that has been rectified in version
1.9.19, also working its way onto various mirror sites as part of woody.
  (This was Debian Bug #99816.)

* Discover-data did not know what kernel module to provide for SCSI
controllers that are stock in the HP NetServer LP 1000r machines.
Discover-data 1.2002.02.19-1 rectifies this problem and is currently part
  of unstable.

* pgi declares versioned build-dependencies to ensure that all of the above
bug-fixed versions of the packages (except for the top item) are on the
system. If you have difficulty with dependencies when installing pgi,
you may need to switch your apt sources.list to unstable.
