php4-interbase module for firebird and interbase.
The current version has been compiled against libraries
from the 1.5.x series called firebird2 in sarge.
It was no longer possible to support firebird 1.0.x in
sarge due to security issues. See:

If you really need the firebird 1.0.x series for sarge
and are prepared to deal with the security issues you can
find unofficial firebird 1.0.3 here:

We are planning to put something as well on:

But you are much better off with the firebird 1.5.x series.

Linking trouble:
Be carefull if you compile software against libfbembed and
load that and php4-interbase in apache at the same time.
Link against libfbclient instead or rebuild this library
against libfbembed. See bug #269471 for details.
