Notes for Amanda
================

$Id: README.Amanda,v 1.1 2001/12/20 14:24:12 cvs Exp $

All these actions are automagically done by PICA...

1. Install amanda-server in the tape server
2. Install amanda-clients in all servers you want to backup
3. Modify /var/lib/amanda/.amandahosts to allow connections from the
   amanda-server as user amanda
4. Modify /etc/xinetd.d/amanda in all amanda-clients to allow connections
   only from the amanda-server (see sample amanda.xinetd)
   YES, this is a double check, but this is a good security practice
