Package maintenance instructions
================================

1.  The package is managed by dbs.  Read the man page for dbs.  
    Use dbs-edit-patch to make any alterations to the upstream source.

2.  For a new upstream version, check all files in ./debian for relevant
    version numbers and change them.

3.  Check debian/postgresql.conf against the upstream Administrator's
    Manual.  Make sure all parameters are still valid and that no new
    parameters should be added.

4.  Check all the README files in ./debian, to make sure that their
    content is still valid.
