Quickstart installation instructions:

0. Unpack the sources (if you're looking at this, you've already done so).

1. Produce powstatd.ps (a postscript copy of the man page):
       % make doc
       
2. Print powstatd.ps for full installation and configuration instructions.

Note: see notes for SPARC/Solaris and SGI/Irix. I don't have access to
either kind of system, but have been told it can be made to work.
