.TH PPPLOAD 1 "" "" \" -*- nroff -*-
.SH NAME
pppload \- display an xload-style graph of PPP activity
.SH SYNOPSIS
.B pppload
[\-cmd ppp_cmd] [\-i interval] [\-p period] [\-retry interval] [\-rx] [\-norx]
[\-rxcolor color] [\-tx] [\-notx] [\-txcolor color]
.SH DESCRIPTION
.BR pppload
displays a graph of PPP transmit and receive throughput in a style
similar to xload(1).
.B pppload
displays the average transmit and receive throughput in
bytes per second. For every 512bps, a horizontal line is drawn.
The graph autoscales to fit the maximum transmit or receieve rate.
In the upper-left corner, the total number of bytes transamitted and
received is shown.
.SS OPTIONS
.TP
.I "\-cmd ppp_cmd"
The command used to start the PPP link. If the PPP link is not up, or happens
to fails, this command will be used to restart it.
.TP
.I "\-d n"
Draw a horizontal divider for every 'n' bytes per second of throughput
(default: 512).
.TP
.I "\-h"
Print command line usage.
.TP
.I "\-i interval"
The statistics polling interval in seconds (default: 5).
.TP
.I "\-link link"
The PPP link number to be monitored (default: 0).
.TP
.I "\-p period"
The load averaging period in seconds (default: 60). The actual number of
samples that are averaged is equal to period / interval.
.TP
.I "\-retry interval"
The time between retries when dialling the PPP link (default: 60).
.TP
.I "\-rx"
Enable drawing of receive rates (default).
.TP
.I "\-norx"
Disable drawing of receive rates.
.TP
.I "\-rxcolor color"
The name of the color to draw receive rates in (default: forestgreen).
.TP
.I "\-tx"
Enable drawing of transmit rates (default).
.TP
.I "\-notx"
Disable drawing of transmit rates.
.TP
.I "\-txcolor color"
The name of the color to draw transmit rates in (default: red).
