*** NOTE for 2.4 kernel users ***
The early point releases of 2.4 (up to 2.4.5, as far as I know) had a problem
the parport code that would result in the following error message when
pup was trying to read back from the parallel port:
parport0: No more nibble data (1 bytes)
parport0: No more nibble data (0 bytes)
If you are running one of these earlier 2.4.x kernels, please consider
upgrading (or installing one of Debian's kernel-image-$version packages).
