Pd64 (double-precision Pd) for Debian
=====================================

As of Pd-0.54, Debian started to ship double-precision versions of Pd (in
addition to the traditional single-precision version).

Externals packaged in Debian are expected to ship both single-precision and
double-precision variants in a single binary package.
E.g. "pd-zexy" should work with both "puredata-core" and "puredata64-core".

Pd64 is currently considered "experimental".
Esp. the external ecosystem might not be as rich as it is for single-precision
Pd (that's true for both externals available in Debian, and externals available
via Pd's builtin Deken package manager).
