I just put in a few changes here and there to make this compile under linux.
basically, the SYSV option does most of the work, with only a few minor
LINUX ifdefs put in to include needed header files, and help in a cleaner
compile.

I don't support this stuff....I only ported it.....so send your flames to
/dev/null.
