This is the Debian prepackaged version of QuickPage, which is both an
SNPP client and an SNPP-to-TAP/IXO gateway, depending on how you
invoke it. Original source may be found at http://www.qpage.org/.
This package is a significant overhaul of the original qpage package
done by Michael Shields <shields@crosslink.net>.

QuickPage is a public domain program which sends messages
to an alpha-numeric pager. I wrote it because I couldn't
find another package I was satisfied with. QuickPage was
developed specifically for Solaris 2.x but I tried to make
the code as portable as possible so it should compile just
fine on other operating systems.
QuickPage is available to the internet community free of
charge. You may not sell any portion of QuickPage (or any
derivation) for profit. The only thing I ask for in return
for the use of QuickPage is a short message telling me how
you like it. Please read the man page for complete details
on how to use QuickPage.
If you'd like to be notified of future QuickPage releases,
let me know and I'll add you to my mailing list. It is
not a discussion list--it will be used only by me and only
for sending announcements regarding QuickPage. Don't worry,
