This man page documents \fBquinn-diff\fR version 0.50.
.SH DESCRIPTION
\fBQuinn diff\fR compares a Sources file and a Packages files to determine
which programs need (re)compiled from source for any given
architecture.

\fBQuinn diff\fR knows about architecture specific packages (e.g. lilo) and
can easily exlcude them via a Packages-arch-specific file. The output
is a list of source packages complete with accurate section and
version information, suitable for use in build daemons or just in a
script to auto-snarf the necessary source.

.IP -a/--arch-specific-packages=<file>
Specify the location of the Packages-arch-specfic file. The default is "/etc/Packages-arch-specific".
.IP -p/--packages=<file>
Specify the location of the Packages file. The default is "Packages" in the current directory.
.IP -s/--sources=<file>
Specify the location of the Sources file. The default is "Sources" in the current directory.
.IP -w/--warn-older
Warn about source packages which are \fIolder\fR than their binary components.
.IP -h/--help
Print a usage message and exit successfully.
.IP -V/--version
Print version information and then exit successfully.
.IP -D/--debug=<octal value>
Enable debug output. Use "help" as an argument to get more information.

Very few known.

The most obvious known problem is that \fBQuinn diff\fR assumes the Binary:
line from the Sources file is valid, which, unfortuntely, it's not.
However this affects very few packages and is non-trivial to fix.
