EPILEPIC WARNING:
If you have an epilepic condition or experience dizziness, altered vision,
loss of awareness or disorientation discontinue use IMMEDIATELY!
TO MAKE:
[your_root_prompt]# gcc -O2 -m486 -o razzle razzle.c -lvga
TO RUN:
[your_root_prompt]# razzle opens a 640x480 256 color screen
[your_root_prompt]# razzle -l opens a 320x200 256 color screen
[your_root_prompt]# razzle -h opens a 800x600 256 color screen
TO QUIT:
Press any key!
Note: Some S3 cards won't work at 800x600, others will! I have one that
won't (Number 9 GXE 64 pro) and another (Orchid Fahrenheit 64) that will.
I have added another command line parameter; -n(number) where number is the
value of a case statement in main's big select statement. It causes that
case statement to execute over and over so that only the associated drawing
function is called. It's for easy testing of a new drawing function.
TIPS ON VIEWING STEREOGRAMS:
A few people find it easy to look at stereograms, most can see them with a
little practice and others never seem to get the knack. Try looking at
something just behind the monitor and then shifting your eyes to the monitor.
Another trick is to move in till your nose is almost touching the monitor, then
move smoothly back WITHOUT shifting your eyes. It helps to have a dark room
with no reflections. Basically, you are looking at the image "cross-eyed'.
The image looks best in the center. Keep trying!
