<h1>Email Announcement</h1>
Once you have added email addresses to your project's <a href="email_setup.html">address
book</a> and <a href="preferences.html#email">configured Releaseforge</a> with your email
settings</a> you can then send project announcements to a subset of those contacts.
<p>
To access the Email Announcement facility select a SourceForge project from the
main window and then select <i>Email Announcement</i> from the <i>Actions</i> menu.

Select the email addresses you wish to send an announcement to. You can use the <i>Select
All</i> button to quickly choose all contacts for the given project. <p>

Press the <i>Next</i> button to proceed to the message composition page. Enter the subject and
message that you wish to send to each of the selected recipients.<p>

Press the <i>Next</i> button to proceed to the review page. The review page allows you to
proof the message before it is sent.<p>

If you are satisfied with your message, press the <i>Send</i> button to send an email of your
announcement to each of the previously selected addresses.<p>
Each of the recipients will be sent an individual message. You will see a progress screen of
the messages as they are sent. When all of the messages have been sent, you can press the
<i>Finish</i> button to close the wizard.
