<h1>Freshmeat Release</h1>
Once you have successfully configured ReleaseForge for use with Freshmeat (via the <a
href="freshmeat_setup.html">Freshmeat Setup</a> option in the <b>Actions</b> menu) you can then
submit project news information to Freshmeat.
<p>
To access the <b>Freshmeat Release</b> dialog you simply select the SourceForge project on the main
window. Then select <b>Freshmeat Release</b> on the <b>Actions</b> menu. If <b>Freshmeat Release</b>
is not enabled that indicates that you have properly associated the selected SourceForge project with
a Freshmeat project. If this is the case, you will need to (re)visit the <a
href="freshmeat_setup.html">Freshmeat Setup</a> dialog.
<p>
Upon accessing the <b>Freshmeat Release</b> dialog you may be prompted for your Freshmeat login
information. Once you have supplied this information, ReleaseForge will establish an xml-rpc
connection to Freshmeat. If, during your ReleaseForge session your Freshmeat xml-rpc connection times
out, ReleaseForge will attempt to re-establish the connection automatically (without requiring you to
enter your login credentials again).
