This is the Debian GNU/Linux r-cran-rmysql package of the R package RMySQL,
facilitating access to databases. DBI was originally created by
Michael Lapsley <mlapsley@sthelier.sghms.ac.uk> and later by
B. D. Ripley <ripley@stats.ox.ac.uk> who is the current maintainer.
This package was created by Steffen Moeller <moeller@pzr.uni-rostock.de>,
based on work for the r-cran-rodbc package of Dirk Eddelbuettel <edd@debian.org>.
The sources were downloaded from
http://cran.r-project.org/
The package was renamed from its upstream name 'RMySQL' to 'r-cran-rmysql'
to highlight the fact that is it a package for R within the CRAN archive,
and to match Debian's convention of lowercase package names.
RMySQL is copyright of Michael Lapsley and B. D. Ripley and distributed under
version 2 of the GNU General Public License (GPL).
On a Debian GNU/Linux system, the GPL license is included in the file
/usr/share/common-licenses/GPL.
