rr for Debian
-------------

rr currently only supports Intel CPUs with Nehalem or later
microarchitectures, and some AMD Zen CPUs.

rr conflicts with certain kernel features; running rr will tell you
what needs changed (if anything). It may suggest checking perf; this
means you need to check /proc/sys/kernel/perf_event_paranoid and set
it to -1 ("not paranoid at all") if necessary.

On Zen CPUs, you may need to disable hardware SpecLockMap
optimisation; the zen_workaround.py script, provided in
/usr/share/doc/rr/examples, will do this for you.
