RTiC-Lab Application Example: an I/O Tester

This chapter develops a very simple application from the ground
up. Namely, this application will be used to test all the I/O hardware
for a given hardware configuration. It will be used to actively
change the voltages in the D/A pins, while actively reading in the
voltages in the A/D pins. It is assumed that both the A/D and D/A
drivers have already been appropriately written as described in the
previous chapter and therefore will not be discussed further, In what
follows, assume that the user must monitor five sensor readings
(measured via five A/D board channels), and must be able to output
five distinct voltages (via the pins of the D/A boards). These example
files can be found under the examples/IO_tester directory under
the main source directory of the RTiC-Lab distribution. Other full
examples can also be found in the examples directory.
