This package uses the Debian 3.0 (quilt) source package format, and is kept in
the Git repository of the Ruby Team.
The source has been repacked to remove the embedded copy of libbz2, included by
upstream for convenience.
This has been obtained by removing the following files from the tarball
downloaded with uscan:
ext/BZLIB_blocksort.c
ext/BZLIB_bzlib.c
ext/BZLIB_compress.c
ext/BZLIB_crctable.c
ext/BZLIB_decompress.c
ext/BZLIB_huffman.c
ext/BZLIB_randtable.c
ext/bzlib.h
ext/bzlib_private.h
The workflow to work with these cleaned sources uses git-buildpackage and is
described in git-buildpackage's manual:
