runit (2.1.2-14) unstable; urgency=medium

  To fix #899242, getty-run binary package no longer provide symbolic links in
  /etc/service. Instead they are created at post-install by maintainer script.
  Unfortunately, it means during upgrade from previous version, there is
  exists moment of time, when /etc/service/getty-tty* links do not exist;
  as such all processes, started on terminals are killed. If dpkg process
  is killed this way, system will be left in broken state, when tty login
  is impossible.

  To mitigate this problem, /etc/service/getty-tty1 is made part of package
  files. In short, upgrade getty-run 2.1.2-13 -> 2.1.2-14 must be performed
  under tty1 or display manager. Sorry for invenience.
