.SH NAME
ss2tf - conversion from state-space to transfer function
.SH CALLING SEQUENCE
.nf
[h]=ss2tf(sl)
[Ds,NUM,chi]=ss2tf(sl)
.fi
.SH PARAMETERS
.TP 10
sl
: linear system (\fVsyslin\fR list)
.TP
h
: transfer matrix
.SH DESCRIPTION
Called with three outputs \fV[Ds,NUM,chi]=ss2tf(sl)\fR returns
the numerator polynomial matrix \fVNUM\fR, the characteristic
polynomial \fVchi\fR and the polynomial part \fVDs\fR separately i.e.:
.nf
h=NUM/chi + Ds
.fi
.LP
Method:
.PP
One uses the characteristic polynomial and
\fVdet(A+Eij)=det(A)+C(i,j)\fR where \fVC\fR is the adjugate
matrix of \fVA\fR.
.SH EXAMPLE
.nf
s=poly(0,'s');
h=[1,1/s;1/(s^2+1),s/(s^2-2)]
sl=tf2ss(h);
h=clean(ss2tf(sl))
[Ds,NUM,chi]=ss2tf(sl)
