.SH NAME
xclear - clear a graphic window
.SH CALLING SEQUENCE
.nf
xclear([window-id])
.fi
.SH PARAMETERS
.TP 15
window-id
: integer vector
.SH DESCRIPTION
Without any argument, this function wipes out the current window.
Otherwise it wipes out the graphic windows whose numbers are included
in the vector \fVwindow-id\fR, for example \fVxclear(1:3)\fR.
If one of the windows does not
exist then it is automatically created.
.LP
Warning : in recording mode the graphic command \fVxclear\fR wipes out
the window, but it doesn't wipe out the recorded commands.
In this case one must use the function \fVxbasc\fR.
