.SH NAME
newfun - add a name in the table of functions
.SH CALLING SEQUENCE
.nf
newfun("function-name",nameptr)
.fi
.SH DESCRIPTION
Utility function (for experts only). Adds the name \fV"function-name"\fR
in the table
of functions known to the interpreter. \fV"nameptr"\fR is an integer
\fV100*fun+fin\fR where \fVfun\fR and \fVfin\fR is the internal coding of
the primitive \fV"function-name"\fR.
This function is useful to associate a primitive to a routine
interfaced in \fV"matusr.f"\fR (\fVfun=14\fR).
Used with \fVfunptr\fR and \fVclearfun\fR one can redefine a primitive
by a function with same name.
