.SH DESCRIPTION
\fVfplot2d\fR plots a curve defined by the external function \fVf\fR.
The curve is approximated by a piecewise linear interpolation using the points 
\fV(xr(i),f(xr(i))\fR. The values of f(x) are obtained by \fVfeval(xr,f)\fR.
