          <para>o sinal de igualdade ( = )  usado para denotar a atribuio
          de valor(es) a varivel(eis). A sintaxe pode ser :</para>

              <para><literal>a=expr</literal> onde <literal>a</literal>  um
              nome de varivel e <literal>expr</literal> uma expresso do
              Scilab cuja avaliao conduz a um nico resultado. </para>
            </listitem>

            <listitem>
              <para><literal>[a,b,...]=expr</literal> onde
              <literal>a</literal>,<literal>b</literal>,<literal>...</literal>
              so nomes de variveis e <literal>expr</literal> uma expresso
              do Scilab cuja avaliao conduz a tantos resultados quanto o
              nmero de variveis dadas.</para>

              denotam comparaes de ordem entre os valores de <literal>
