    <title>Descrio</title>

    <para>Retorna o resultado da avaliao da matriz de strings
    <literal>M</literal>. Cada elemento da matriz deve definir uma expresso
    Scilab vlida.</para>

    <para>Se a avaliao de <literal>M</literal> levar a um erro, a verso de
    valor de nico retorno, <literal>H=evstr(M)</literal>, levanta erro de
    modo usual. A verso de dois valores de retorno,
    <literal>[H,ierr]=evstr(M)</literal> , por outro lado, no produz erro,
    mas retorna o nmero de erro em <literal>ierr</literal>.</para>

    <para>Se <literal>Z</literal>  uma lista, <literal>Subexp </literal> um
    vetor de strings, que define subexpresses que so avaliadas antes da
    avaliao de <literal>M</literal>. Estas subexpresses devem ser referidas
    como <literal>%(k)</literal> em <literal>M</literal>, onde
    <literal>k</literal>  o ndice da subexpresso em
    <literal>Subexp</literal>.</para>

    <para>evstr('a=1') no  vlido (use <literal>execstr</literal> ao
    invs).</para>
