- Install it from source code
$ tar jxvf scim-python-${version},tar.bz2
$ cd scim-python-${version}
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr
$ make
$ make install
$ restart current X session
$ Try [English writer] engine
- Install it from rpm for Fedora 8
$ yum install python-enchant
$ rpm -ivh scim-python-*.rpm
$ scim-restart
$ Try [English writer] engine
- Install it from Fedora 8 yum repository
$ yum install scim-python*
