<H2><A NAME="Description">Description</A></H2>
<P>The <EM>box</EM> filter is used to box a region of text. The <EM>lines</EM> parameter can be used to treat each line as a line within a paragraph - without this, the contents is treated as normal SDF.</P>
<P>The other parameters have the same meanings as they do for the <A HREF="../ref/ftable.html">table</A> filter.</P>

<P>Some of the output drivers (e.g. the MIF driver) do not support nested tables, so tables within the box may be ignored.</P>
