Collection of SHAREWARE ATM Fonts for Linux

This is a collection of 22 fonts from the CICA archives that are shareware.
NOTICE: They are not free. You have to pay a fee for constant use. They
are licensed by the authors not by me. Read the <font>.shareware
notices for each font to find out how to license them. I have just
collected them and put them into a usable format for X11.
The collection was motivated by the lack of good fonts for Linux especially X11
and ghostscript. Scaled bitmaps look really ugly!
Installation for X11
--------------------
1. Change to /usr/X11/lib/fonts
2. untar the archive sharefonts-0.10.tar.gz
3. Give the following commands to make X11 accept the new fonts
xset fp+ /usr/X11/lib/fonts/sharefont
xset fp rehash
4. The fonts are available under X11.
Check them out by running "xfontsel" for example.
HINT: Since there are many fonts especially if you also install the
freefonts-package you might want to restrict the fonts from the
commandline. for example
xfontsel -pattern "*-sharefont-*"
will allow to view only the sharefonts.
