This directory contains the evt2img demo. To run it you need to make
sure that you have the histogram and slgtk modules installed.
Information about obtaining the SLgtk module may be obtained from
http://space.mit.edu/CXC/software/slang/modules/
The module also depends upon isis to read the events file. Isis is
part of the CXC ciao distribution. It may also be obtained as a
standalone package from
http://space.mit.edu/CXC/isis/
Assuming that evt2img is installed somewhere on your path, invoking it
with no arguments should produce a usage message:
Usage: evt2img evt-file [ X/YGrid [energy-bands] ]
The X/Y grids are specified using one of the forms
xlo:xhi,ylo:yhi
xlo:xhi:xinc,ylo:yhi:yinc
The default X/Y grid is 3840:4351,3840:4351
The RGB energy bounds are given either by one of the forms
Rhi,Blo
Rhi,Glo,Ghi,Blo
Rlo,Rhi,Glo,Ghi,Blo,Bhi
in units of keV
