Sonicmail Changelog:
* sonicmail-0.1.4 (7 February 2001):
- fixed a bug that may have effected some systems. SIGUSR2 is now
sent to the mail check thread PID only, not the entire process group
(thanks Gerald Champagne for reporting and helping solve this problem).
- added "Check Mail Now" menu item (more intuitive than clicking on applet).
- fixed configure.in & Makefile.am files to obey ./configure --prefix=.
Non root installs should now work.
* sonicmail-0.1.3 (5 February 2001):
- sonicmail now builds using autoconf/automake
- changed sound to use ESD. Note that if esd isn't running then it
should fall back to play the sound directly to the sound device.
Note: SIGUSR1 seems to conflict with something in ESD - sonicmail
sometimes crashed saying "User defined signal 1" when ESD was used
in fallback mode. sleep() is now woken using SIGUSR2 (this appears
to work fine with ESD).
* sonicmail-0.1.2 (31 August 2000):
- added in some code donated by (Saravanan Subbiah) to immediately check
for mail when the applet is clicked. Thanks Saravanan!
