This is a packaged collection of Spectrum ROM images, downloaded from
Philip Kendall's web site:

The archive also contains the Incomplete Spectrum ROM Assembly,
downloaded from:

  http://www.wearmouth.demon.co.uk/

This package exists purely to simplify the installation and packaging of
Spectrum emulators.
