!!! INCOMPATIBILIY !!!

If you have backup trees prior to packaged version 1.15, you have to convert
your old backup directories to a newer format.

This can easily be done with the script:

storeBackupConvertBackup.pl storeBackup-dir

storeBackup-dir is the directory in which you have all your backups:

EXAMPLE:
If you get:
) ls /home/copyshop/lappix-backup/
2002.04.15_12.24.05 2002.05.08_09.17.25 2002.05.22_07.02.46
2002.04.16_17.35.46 2002.05.13_17.14.26 2002.05.22_07.33.35
2002.04.17_15.21.48 2002.05.14_17.36.05 2002.05.22_07.38.14
2002.04.23_17.55.30 2002.05.15_17.32.52 2002.05.22_07.40.24
2002.04.24_10.54.47 2002.05.16_13.56.46 2002.05.22_08.06.16
2002.04.25_14.25.54 2002.05.21_11.21.19 2002.05.22_08.08.12
2002.05.06_15.38.44 2002.05.21_16.52.11 2002.05.22_15.44.01
2002.05.07_17.50.42 2002.05.21_17.06.35

then /home/copyshop/lappix-backup is your storeBackup-dir

version 1.15 and newer allow the restauration of access and
modification times in the target directory of
storeBackupRecover.pl. For this functionality, additional information
must be present in the internal file .md5CheckSum (new format). The
conversion program will add these informations in a way, that the
access time is set to the modivication time for older backups than
version 1.15.

All backups with storeBackup.pl from version 1.15 and higher can restore
atime and mtime with storeBackupRecover.pl to the former value in the
backup source directory.
