Description: Modern mailing-list manager
Sympa is a modern mailing-list manager which can handle
a lots of useful features :
- moderation
- digest mode
- authentification (for subscription process)
- archive management
- multi-language support
- expiration process
.
Provided that you have enough memory on your system, Sympa is especially well
adapted for big lists. For a list with 20 000 subscribers, it takes 5 minutes
to send a message to 90% of subscribers, of course considering that the
network is available.
.
SYMPA means 'Systme de Multi-Postage Automatique' (French) or
'Automatic Mailing System' (English).
.
It is written in Perl and uses some modules (mailtools, md5, msgcat, db).
